What a week this must've been. Though claimed to be ambivalently titled, it does supply a possible virtual context / launching pad for anyone who needs content in direct opposition to typical holiday music (warping Guaraldi's "Christmas Time is Here" and calling it "Turkey Song") More importantly is the extension of emerging technologies to create what many sought but few achieved. Also seek the original release with remixes by other incredible creators of the early 00s.

Hard to pick a favourite on this album of gentle and warm ambient tracks. I think the field recordings are beautiful as well, the whole release reminds me of sunny autumn or spring days in the park.

This release is an outstanding showcase or Sarah Davachi's talents as a pianist, vocalist and composer. The first part of Perfume showcases her ability to find new expressions for solo piano, whilst the second adds her unique, deep-pitched expressive voice; a study in bold restraint. The final piece is the departure; an extended composition build around the interplay of two violins. No vibrato; just long notes and silence. This is a first class album. Timely, resonant and beautiful.
